Return to the Whiteleaf hilly course for the first time this year. More marshalls than riders, but great to see new riders out on the course. Apologies that the standards are 14 miles, but that’s how far it was…. Back to the Longwick layby for the 11mile circuit course next week. What a ghastly evening in Longwick. Very well done to all the riders, and thanks to the marshalling team: Cynthia, Creighton, Gareth and the timekeepers. Reminder that the next time trial is on the Whiteleaf course, start at the Whiteleaf car park, hence we have a large number of volunteer marshalls: Matt Piercy, Michael Garvey, Bob and Margaret Lambert, Marion Freeman, Sherinne Hill, Dave Briant, Chris Hacking, Philip Porteous, Dena Ford, Claire and Chris Donald, Gareth Batson, Andy Gajraj and Rebecca Sore. You will not get a faster time by calling out someone elses number…. Could Paul Gardner return number 18, and in general if all riders could return their numbers to Alasdair’s car at finish each week – makes it simpler you see! Everyone is also reminded that there is a time trial on the Butlers Cross course on Sunday morning; First rider off at 08:31. 2 laps for Ladies, Juniors and Juveniles (12.5 miles). 3 laps for the Men (18.8miles).
