The club offers ‘entry – level ‘ rides on Saturday and Sunday mornings starting from Thame.The Saturday ride meets in good time to leave at 09:00, Does about 40 miles with a cafe-stop and returns around 12:00.
The Sunday ride meets at the same time. Does about 50 miles with a cafe-stop and returns around 13:00. The Sunday ride is more demanding so recommended that new riders start on a Saturday.
For new riders free on Wednesday mornings, there are rides meeting at Lewknor – close to junction 6 of the M40 – meeting in good time to leave at 09:45.
Such advice as may be needed is provided informally in the course of these rides and the route and pace is tailored to accommodate new riders. They are proving to be especially popular with women.
There is no need to join the club in advance of a few introductory rides.
